T.I., New Wife Arrested for Drug Possession

The honeymoon is over for rapper T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle.
Weeks after they wed, the two were arrested Wednesday for possession of a controlled substance in West Hollywood.

Police smelled alleged marijuana coming from their car and placed them under arrest after "a narcotics investigation ensued," Los Angeles sheriff's deputy Mark Pope told The Associated Press.
They were released at about 4 a.m. Thursday after posting $10,000 bail each.
Still no official word on what specific drugs were found, but TMZ (which broke the story) reports methamphetamines and ecstasy were confiscated.

The 29-year-old T.I. (real name is Clifford Harris Jr.) has done time for drugs before.

The rapper, who has five children, recently told the AP he has turned over a new leaf.
"Right now, it's all about moving forward and just acknowledging the blessings that are here today," he said last month. "Just moving past the regrets of yesterday - the things that could've been done better."
