Filming the upcoming History Channel miniseries The Kennedys in Toronto on Friday, Holmes, (as Jacqueline Kennedy), donned the iconic pink suit and pillbox hat worn by the First Lady when the tragedy struck in Dallas, Texas.
The late Jackie Kennedy famously kept the chic suit on, blood-stained, after the President was shot, and while Vice President Lyndon Johnson was sworn in as President on Air Force One.
Katie Holmes (the wife of Tom Cruise and mom to daughter Suri, 4.) says "I feel really lucky to be playing her," "She not only had a great style, but she was an artist and a writer as well as an illustrator. She was an editor," added the Holmes.
